Tyre Centre Assistant/Branch Manager

Salary – £30000 – £35000
Experience essential

Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00

Saturday (Biweekly): 08:00 – 16:00

Family run, forward thinking, Nottingham based chain of Autocentres, Tyre Centres & Vehicle Sales showroom offering a range of vehicle services across 10 locations.

Working within a close-knit team, the successful candidate will take ownership of looking after our customers whilst their vehicles are with us for tyre repairs and/or replacements and wheel alignments.

Job Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Delivering excellent communication skills and customer service over the phone and face to face.
  • Ensuring all targets and KPI’s are achieved.
  • Being organised and demonstrating the ability to manage a busy workload to ensure work is assigned to fitters quickly and efficiently.
  • Contacting customers and explaining any necessary vehicle repairs in a way they can understand, and gain approval for this work.
  • Calling and/or ordering online with our suppliers to order in tyres/parts required, and bringing them into stock on the system once they arrive, ensuring the work flows through the workshop.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and still maintain outstanding customer service throughout.
  • Answer all incoming email enquiries to the branch, and schedule bookings on the system.
  • Ensuring the security of stock and monies, being accountable for any losses.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, assisting your manager/senior managers in completing key administrative tasks.
  • Promoting and maintaining the Company image, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Undertaking the necessary training and skills development.
  • Adhering to and ensuring that all works carried out are conducted in accordance with the Companies procedures.
  • Supporting other tyre operations where necessary.

 

Technical Competencies

 

You must have excellent customer service skills, be computer literate and be confident in receiving and making phone calls. Tyre industry experience is preferred.
